can i just use a regular rubber clutch line instead of stainless steel...?
Subscribecan i use regular rubber clutch line hosing to run from the master to the slave instead of purchasing a stainless steel one from the org. i need the car working tomorrow and cant wait for one to come in the mail.
mainly asking because i basically stripped the fitting of the clutch line that is on the master. so i was just gonna chop it off and put the new unit in. also to eliminate the 20 feet of metal tubing and the first air release valve. also, ill order the stainless steel and install it next month or so

im sure you can, but im not sure who would sell a rubber line from the master to the slave. unless you have a local place that makes hydraulic lines. theres a local place here that makes lines super cheap.

not sure it would work as the rubber will expand under pressure. The reason the lines were made out of metal is cuz metal retains it form under pressure.

Not even worth the hassle mang (for rubber lines), I can ship out my stock lines to you for the low low and it'll get there pretty soon (both in tx) if that's what you really want.
i got it. i bought a section of flared metal conduit and bent it myself. pics maybe tomorrow. its my first day off work in 2 weeks.
