CAI: I'm considering buying one

I'm thinking about buying a CAI for my 1997 Max GXE. What kind of gains will I get and how noticable will they be. Also, will I see better gains if I upgrade my mufler?

dammit Clee, I know.

Terence, you may get a couple HP but you won't really feel it, it will make your engine growl at 1/2 to full throttle, and yes if you upgrade the exhaust too you should get a little more power.

With no other mods you should see about 4-7HP. The growl will be awesome and you should get some more low end throttle response, although you may not notice it.
