wats up members. got another max a 97, but it needs a motor. Anyone with a good motor with low miles, let me know ASAP! Any ideas since i have to change the motor?

Just kidding. I've always wanted to do a 3.5 swap. There is tons of info on the Org about this swap and quite a few members who are willing to help you out.

 

Find a replacement VQ and build it from the ground up for crazy FI. I'm leaning towards turbo for power now after the tons of work I spent doing the last 2 years on a major engine swap in a toyota land cruiser. Lots of work and money and a cool result, but a rebuild for lower compression and lots of boost would have been cheaper, quicker and a lot of fun.

 

i say you do a 3.5 swap and shave/tuck the bay while it is empty. :-)
