Maxima looks like MERCEDES w/ 300zx rims

hey guys, I just put 300zx rims on my maxima, I didn't even know this was going to happen, but he cars looks like a Mercedes now. I work as a vallet parker, so I park 'em all the time and I know what those rims look like on the car, and when I put the 300zx on my car it looks just like 'em, especially because they have the same size tires on those tires too. my car has GC coloivers so it looks nice and low, especially w/ 300zx rims

if anybody want to make the car look nice using rims, I say 300zx rims is the way to do it, soooo much cheaper then buying any other rims

even my dad noticed that it looked much better

hehe, yeah, the white looks good those rims, but it HAS to be lowered to look good, but #1 thing not to do is getting the wider tires, you should not put anything bigger then 225/50-16 on those $uckers, and the reason for that is when you take turns your car won't be at stable

i got these from a guy who put 255/50-16 on the rear, you can see in the pictures how far they stick out, that's BAD, but OK for rear, I would never put 'em in the front, and since I race I don't care about the tires I'll get new ones for next season anyways, but get what the manufacturer recomended, TRUST ME

True.

I am picking up 4 front 300zx TT rims. They are all teh same size. The 300zx NA have teh same front rims as teh TT model. The TT model has wider rims on the rear. I got these b/c they look good, they are 16lbs each, & i needed something light for dragging. I will be putting 225/50/16's on these puppies.

Very nice Vini..
Car looks very aggressive lowered with those rims. First pics i've seen of your car. Looks very good. But you need to re-spray your outer tails man. Get some candy apple red paint and do a few more coats,
looks good though. I think they will look even better on Synki's car, since the silver rims kind of match his white car, plus the bigger drop.

He has coilovers though. So I think he can drop lower if he wanted to.

I had the GC's but sold them. They were waaaay to bouncy for my liking. I have AGX/Sprints now. The dropis very similar to what i had but its def a good comparison.

Bouncy as in soft? Cause from what I have seen they are nowhere near soft.

I'm not sure about your max looking like a Mercedes but they do make the max much more cleaner and aggresive.

I know they are, I was trying to make the tails like the 97-99 guys are doing, inserting the light thingy, but it didn't work too well, the actual piece inside matches the red but when you put it inside the clear tail light it's pink

I'll redue it again sometime

Vinipux, the rear rims point backwards! You need to swap the tires, then swap the tire/rim L-R. This basically amounts to keeping the rear tires where they are, while swapping the rims from left to right.
