leather door inserts?

leather door inserts?

i picked some black leather inserts at the jy, and they have metal holding tabs but the cloth ones don't...what do i do? just bend the tabs down and use an edhesive? cut little slots for the tabs to fit?
please any advise

Umm... on my 96 i cut little slots in the panel after taking some extreme measurements.... if your measurement is the slightest off it wont fit on the door right...so take your time and be patient...

cut them in. or you should have taken the whole door card

I bent the tabs straight out then pushed them through a piece of cardboard (the thinner the better). Once all the tabs were through the cardboard I traced a template of the insert to use on the door panel itself. Everything should line up perfectly. Now just make the holes in the door panel using the template. Although time consuming, it's always better to do it right the first time. Good luck!
