Was there anything specific that you did just before the backfiring started happening? The times ive had backfiring from the intake was from vacuum leaks.

That sounds horrible.
Also looks like you have no power as that's a rev with no load on it, the RPM's should shoot right up. Big time lag there.
The back fire points to an ignition issue, I would suspect coils are at fault.
Check the signal from the MAF sensor, it may also be lagging.
My .02 is the intake isn't doing you any good either in the throttle response area.

since u not gettin no codes check for vacuum leaks. Im leaning towards either MAF or TPS or vacuum leak.

before this crap started my throttle response was fine.... my car was hauling *** with no problem, making mincemeat of other cars... as far as the backfire goes... i have no idea... i tried checking for any leaks yesterday but it was beginning to get late so i called it a day... Im thinkin tps myself also because i just swapped the Maf in there although it was a used one, but the car was running just fine

Just curious, did the ticking and the rev issues appear simultaneously? I had similar rev issues before replacing my coils years ago. As far is the ticking it doesn't seem out of the ordinary.

Seriously?
I'll say it again, a back fire is usually ignition related.
