Why would they have a beater Maxima? Do you expect them to buy a vehicle for every item they make?

They won't me making them for us '95-'96 guys. I can probably build you one once I do mine.

The funny thing about that statement is that if they owned civic or hondas, they will be those Honda owners they are bashing lol...

I agree with you and Flava regarding the typical org members being cheap and complaining about prices, it's ridiculous. IMO, the price is fair for this custom made part. But I will really only know for sure once I have it in my possession and installed. Stay tuned......
Your grille has been shipped, please check your email for the tracking #, it should arrive in 1-2 weeks, thanks.

So many members here cry and complain for items to be made availble to them, and once they are everyone feels that they are priced too high.
What people fail to realize is the aftermarket scene for our cars is small, very small. Without a huge demand for parts, the items that are available will always costs more then items being sold to a group that has a much larger demand such as Civics and etc.

In for pics. If all is well and fits nicely I'll get one for sure. Even a little bit of modding to fit is alright with me

I don't complain about mod prices. I don't go for the cheap alternative that looks like some garbage stolen from the Civic isle in WalMart. I don't have a 'ricer.' And no Flava, I can't afford a "higher end" car, so am I not worthy of an opinion? I like the c-mod grille.. If I had extra cash, and I were looking for something like this for my car.. I would already have one. I just said it is a lot for a grille when I can mod a grille on my own for free with what I have in my garage.. And as a college student, saving money is the best way to go for me. I know, a lot of people use that excuse, but as a physics major, I can tell you that I have just enough spare time to take a dump, let alone go to work to make enough money so I can pay for cosmetics (even though I just bought LED tails from Jermaine). I have a lot of respect for some of you guys; good taste, ton of knowledge.. Some of the freshest Max's on the org.. But you didn't get that by taking twenty dollars out of each paycheck to justify buying the one mod you really want.. Some of us have to do that. Please just don't try to evaluate someone's opinion unless they compare something to the $12 mod their 'boi' got for his Honda.

Not tryin' to pick a fight.. Just lettin' it know.

Just because you dont have the cash to buy one, dont post up in the thread stating its too much for a grill. Thats not needed and doesnt help the sale of the grills. Just because you dont have the extra cash doesnt mean you should bash the item. You are entitled to your opinion of course, but the thread wasnt created for you to voice it. Too many people on here do this, someone posts up either GI for an item or actually trying to sell an item and members always feel the need to post up comments that dont relate to the sales of said items.
And FWIW, some of my mods are purchased by saving cash from each pay check until I do have enough to finally purchase them.

Teaser pic. Will take some nice daytime pics tomorrow and present them to C-mod, unless he says it's ok to just post here. Looking through the pics I took tonight, I'm noticing something that may need some fine tuning/adjusting. So far, so good. Plenty to say regarding installation and the quality/fitment, but I'll present this information within the next few days. Hang tight fellas.

The dip for the hood opening is what bother's me the most. Pretty much the only reason why I didn't get it.

Wiz do you see any way around having it there?

I think if the outer posts were painted body color it would flow really well. Or if the headlights were either AEd or blacked out to go with an all black grill.

Then I'm afraid this grill or any aftermarket grill may not be for you. The modification(s) are straightforward and easy, and with my tips, anyone should be able to do it in 1/3 of the time I spent. Compared to installing the Sorona grill, this was a lot easier. Once I post pics with a brief description, you'll see what I mean.

Yeah, I hear you. The dip isn't exactly ideal, but I really see no way around not having it. I have had thoughts to cut the dip out and it would look good (only have a dip in the mesh...but that will blend in) , but then the 'bridge' would be gone and the only support the top part would have would be from the grilling; which isn't ideal to support it.

Agree on the headlights. I knew somebody would say that. LOL I was tempted to toss my AE headlights on just for the picture, but didn't only due to time contraints as I'd have to mod them slightly to accomodate the grill; or temporary install my quad projector black R34's. I hope to do this this weekend and will update the pic.

I also wanted to install the grill with OEM headlights as I'm betting most people have these, and for fitment considering this is what I assume the grill was designed off of. For the AE/R34's, I imagine slightly more fine tuning may be required.

well, Im sure once u put the more detailed pics and explain the modifications needed I'm sure it will be fine, I'm not worry about doing them i just thought that cmod said the only modification needed was to drill the holes, but guess since this is the first test fit it requires a bit more elbow grease now gotta see it on a white max with stock headlights lol

Good that the grille fits nice, but it looks sort of unfinished, we strongly recommend to have it painted to match the body color, you can hide the top bar and the radiator support by painting them black too.

It could look like this:

I think it looks nice, you can tell that this something that will look best if painted body color IMO. I think it would look sick with some Hella horns behind the grille. Might be something I have to pick up and work with.

It is necessary to keep the dip, as we have verified this with other member, if you look at the OEM grille, there is a dip for you to reach out the hood release latch to open the hood, however we already raised the level up about 1 cm so it won't look too low, besides it would not be noticeable from another angle, you can also leave the top line black to make it more hidden.
