Nice grill when painted as c-mod photoshopped. If I still had my 97 I'd definetely buy one since even when I sold that car the grill was still broken.

 

I'm not really digging it, to me it looks like its missing more than just a little some thing...

I think this looks better, maybe bigger/thicker borders for the top and bottom of the grille will make it more appealing...

Adding the Nissan emblem on the mesh will make it look less empty.

In the following pic, you can see the top of the grill dips down and doesn't exactly follow the lines of the hood. Hopefully I can tweak it just like I did the bottom. The bottom didn't follow the bumper evenly at first, but I made it perfect by adjusting the clips that hold the grill in place.



I still owe you guys installation pics, quick writeup and feedback. That is, if you guys care. LMK

 

You can simply remove the clips from the metal mesh, blend the top line slightly upward will fix it.

Exactly. That is what I did for the bottom. The bottom piece of the grill is very flexible/giving..the top not so much.

Nice photoshops C-mod. Should help people visualize it better.

 

So far the pictures look good. It would be nice to see more picture with a painted grille to match the body color from another member that has received the new grille.

 

The frame of the grille definitely needs to be body color & it needs an emblem. Right now, from 10' away, it just looks like the grille is missing. The hood latch also needs to be shot with flat black to hide it.

 

Definitely, it would look nice when the grille is painted to match the body color, we are serious to offer another grille with free shipping at $129.99 if anyone wants to have it painted and share us some installed pictures later.

 

To me it looks great, however body color would be ideal as the black on a different light color does not look like it belongs. But Nice looking product.

 

With all the photoshop gurus around here, why doesn't somebody just make the grill body color? One of the reasons I provided daytime pics and multiple shots.....

 

I definitely think it will look better painted. Also would maybe not look so much like the grill is missing something if someone painted the horn, or put one of those fancy horns in there like all the Subie fella's do, but maybe that's just me. All-in-all, not bad, but it could use a few adjustments to the owner's taste.

i have a 95 and i plan on doing a 97 front end soon would this c-mod grill fit if i change it to a 97 or would there still be small gaps?? jw cuz i like the grill it came out real nice

the top and bottom frame of the grill should be made a little thicker and more flushed with the top part of the bumper. but i still like it.

 

i want to see a few changes for the fitment and maybe start offering painted grilles in the future if they ever come out with 95-96 grilles.

 

The new grille looks great on a black Maxima.

 

I'm not sure if this is okay to post to an old thread. I'm new here. But I would just like to add more to this. Recently got the grill and painted it to show how it would really look like.

 

not my style, maybe with a nismo emblem attached i'd like it better. and in bm1

 

definitely needs some type of logo. Not bad looking besides that.

 

I ultimately took mine off and it's collecting dust now...
