D2 coilovers help again.

I just had to do it. If i really have to Ill ask a moderator to delete it, but....

Does anyone now by chance about the preload for D2 coilovers are. I still get a bouncy ride on my car. Note that i still have to balance my tires and do an alignment on my car or possibly some new tires. Can I actually add some preload besides the 5mm that it may say for BC or would that be good enough? Still have some questions because some of the other D2 thread are not giving the answer i need. People with D2's what did you do?? Did you add any preload? Or how did you guys setup it up with your D2's. I know JM Auto Racing has this on his ride so if he can chime in on this on what I should do.

Now i feel like i should go with BC but i don't want to be bugging my dad about removing and reinstalling the coilovers and everything. As long as anyone who has experience with CO help me out. Cuz me and my dad are noobs at it even though my dad is a mechanic, who has only worked on shocks, and springs not coilovers.

Why not skip the middle man and get the info direct from the horse's mouth? Sorry to hear you got a bouncy ride. Hopefully D2 owners will shed some light on your issue too.

you probably have too much preload. it should only be tighten til its somewhat snug. Or at least that's what i read and done on my coils. I have BC's i would be willing to trade for your D2's and some cash on your end if your interested. I've never rode on D2's personally but a friend down here is having them installed so ill most likely ride in his max to feel the difference.

Hows you i30 coming along? i see you have coils now

I actually pulled off on the preload a while ago and it actually feels more bouncy. I might have to add more preload to it and see what I can do. Plus ill need to lower it some more maybe about .5" - 1". Ill have to see also how others have done their D2's. Yeah and ask your friend and ask him how he did his install so I know that is how I should do mine for a great ride.

You don't like your BC's? I mean i would love to buy them but my dad usually doesn't want me to buy the suspension used. But how is the ride on them actually?? I also heard for the BC you need about 5mm of preload. Anyways i really have to check mine out. Might end up adding preload on mine.

Ohh and my I30 is looking better than ever. Once i get the retro'd Cefiro I bought which ChrisMan is fixing up my "I" will be looking even better. I blacked out my grill also with some "Dupli-Color" and it looks great. I have one question though. How do you remove the wiper blades?? Still want to get

Ill ask them but the only thing is I don't know what to tell them because I use these mainly for normal road conditions and not race use. Especially since they have their warning about how not to use these for normal road conditions.

i love the BC's its just my rear doesnt go as low as i thought it would im maxxed out in the rear but overall these are excellent coilovers. i had ordered a set of jics but was later informed that they had a misprint so the set they thought they had they didnt have if that makes sense to you lol.

but wiper blades idk lol my blades were thin as paper and when i was in Vegas last week it started raining so i went to autozone to buy some wipers and the guy installed them for me as i was paying lol but i dont think it should be to hard to do
