hella bored curious to see what answers i would get for this thread anyways nothing too out of the ordinary i found a black i30 auto dim mirror which are kind of uncommon

haha, im pretty sure between me n jarrod weve got some killer finds!

i found him some i30 limited chrome door sills and woodgrain wheel! and on the same pull, scooped up SE-L gauges that happen to be 1000 miles off his current mileage. and then a couple weeks later, went back because they had a new car in and it was his matching color so we grabbed the hood, but we already got the fenders from another one.

i found a perfect Sterling Mist trunk without a spoiler and a 99 ecu and harness pigtail for $80 on one of our earliest junkyard runs. came outa the same car! go fig! it was my GLE clone.

our buddy came with us one time a couple weeks ago and grabbed a full set of Tokiko Blues for $40 for his Q.

 

Truth. I think I paid a total of $300 for everything I got. And it was 2 hoods, the fenders, i30 Limited door sills, woodgrain wheel, SE-L gauges, headlights, foglights, corner lights, i35 clock, perfect 98-99 cupholders,...I know Im forgetting something.

Before that I got the color-matched, spoilerless trunk with center taillight for $50.

 

I just thought this was hilarious had to post it NOT a great find at all

I've never gone to a junkyard As far as Craigslist goes, I got my Stillen front lip for $60, my David L's for $40 and my KYB AGX/Eibach suspension set up off a totaled I30 for $100 fully assembled.

 

That has to be a typo. I seriously doubt anyone is stupid enough to dump $834 on some plastic side markers.

 

Craigslist find , my g35 rims with 2 brand new tires & the other 2 with 50% thread left for 360 bucks

 

I found a stillen rear antisway bar. cost me $20 but had to but the frame to get the mounting brackets and the bolts were rusted to ****ed. got them pressed out and broke my shops press, all in all it ended up only being like $40, its usually $300 new.

 

probably off my old car lol. if it was, it had coilovers on it too that you should have grabbed.

anyways my best find was probably Q45 throttle bodies for like $10 each, one of which I intend on using on my car some day if I ever turbo it again.

 

Nismo 19" A34's. $380 shipped for a brand new set. My dumb *** picked up a single set instead of the entire stock !

 

But the shipping is free.

 

Junkyard run, got J30 headlights, black leather 3rd gen tilting headrests in perfect condition, and a working 2nd gen hood strut out of an 87 Max for under $50.. Not too bad.

Can I count my whole car as a good find? I've only had it for a few weeks, found it on Craigslist, '95 5-speed black with black leather, it's got a few normal issues for a car with 195k miles. Engine was replaced about 6mo. ago with a VQ30 out of an Infiniti (owner before me has only owned it since May he had the engine put in). $2600, I think I did all right. Only disappointment I've had is the lower radiator support I didn't know to look into until after I got the car, but thanks to all the info on the .org even that looks pretty easy to deal with.

my entire car lol bought it on craigslist for 1400 got the entire interior for 100$ at the junk yard goin back to get some secret parts this weekend from a special edition max thats hidden in a corner of the junkyard got some nice logos on the doors :P

 

Se logos?? Those arent special... my car has em cause its an se-l... personally the car looks cleaner without them...

 

there is about 10 junkyards with in a half hour of me one of them has about 15 4th gens one has 3 and a i30 the one closest to me has 1 white one thats empty nothing on it everytime i go there the dude points me to the same one like its new u guys would have a field day up here ill take a few pics one of these days cheep parts...gauge clusters 10$

 

An aftermarket (ws, cattman) y pipe I found yesterday and it was only $14.00! That's a great find.

man just went to the junkyard "heberts" in gofstown NH they told me 50$ per outter lense off of a 99 max .....yaaaaaa riiiiiite wont go there again

 

craigslist find: my 99 gxe with 150,000 for $550,was in tough shape but runs good now at 170,000, craigslist find: complete black leather interior to swap out my tan one and i mean complete every piece for $200 and it even had nice factory floor mats

the seller said no rust, just has oil on it. it needs the rear section replaced, but for starting at .99 y not.
