Hey fellas, been a long time since I've been on, and am wondering of a better way to change the light in the shift console. I did a search and no useful information came up.

I changed the oem bulb that burnt out with a #194, and its too bright and the yellow doesnt match the dash.. ..yeah I know thats an exterior marker light...

The oem bulb has no numbers that can be seen due to be burnt, but it has a blue plastic covering on it.

1) What bulb will replace the light as it was originally?

2) What is the procedure to get to it and change it?

isn't 194 led from ebay is a good option? there were different opinions on light intensity using the inverted led. an aluminum tape can be used to act as a reflector if it is not bright enough.
