Will 240sx "rear" lines fit a 4th gen stock rear?

What I am trying to do is the z32 brake swap and I know that I need the conversion lines for the front.

My problem is that nobody makes a 4 pc braided kit that includes the front conversion combined with the stock style rear lines.

I am trying to avoid buying conversion lines for the front and then a full maxima braided set just to get the rear lines so that I can get this done.

Will S13 rear lines fit the rear of a Maxima so that I can get a full conversion set for the 240 which I know they do make?

I've read the heck out of the brake swap how to and can't find the answer to a seemingly obvious problem.

Thanks guys!

Hmm, the thread pattern should fit, but not sure about the lengths.

You might have to buy the max kit and sell the fronts to someone on here. Or just do the fronts and not worry about the rear(thats what I did)

Thanks, the length and fitting is the big concerns for this since it effects everything.
Was trying to avoid the extra expense of buying a whole set just to use the rears only and then wasting time trying to sell the remaining pieces off.

I have a ton of expenses already with a new clutch going in on top of this and a new brake booster for my 84 4x4 nissan kc.

I dont know any consumer grade cars that have true all wheel braking. I know 240sx's dont have true all wheel braking. Its news to me if they do have it. I know they have lines running to the rear, but I thought it was just for ebrake assistance

I don't know of any car that doesnt have 4 wheel braking. (at least any current production car)

Our brake bias is around 65/35 but we still use all the brakes...

Damn that helps. Im building a max for autocross. Thats good news. I used to own a few 240s, I know for a fact that they only have front wheel brakes. I this about s13s, dont know about s14s. S13s are around the same length as maximas. So the rear lines would prolly work. Might take some custome fabbing though

S13/14/15 all have the same rear brakes and all work normally... All 4 brakes work, why do you think it only had brakes in the front?

1. get off the computer and go look at the rear tires of of car
2. you will see calibers or a drum braking system (depending on what car you look at..)
3. you will come back in here and say you are a noob and you will stop posting...
FOREVER~~

seriously... people are getting more ignorant by the day...

Thats what I've always heard. I used to drift them, I know they are really ****ty cars, so I assumed it was true. Nissan cut production costs all over those things.

You could not legally drive on a public road without rear breaks. I car manufacturer could not legally sell a vehicle without rear brakes. You are an idiot if you beleave every bs idea someone puts in your head. Idk how old you are, but have you registered as a Democratic yet?

Pedee pablo, you should make a new account and have a nice fresh start on your maxima.org career. Every thread/post you make, this will probably come up.

That..that's what I'm looking for. Now how do we know this? I'm curious.

What I'm looking to do is just buy one braided kit to cover the stock maxima rear "and" the conversion Z32 brake for the front.

If the 240 rear lines will fit the Maxima rear in length and connection then that will make my day a little better.

so do you want Z32 brakes in the rear? or you just leaving those stock, because if you are leaving them stock just buy the braided lines made for the maxima, it would be a lot easier.
