Can't get search results in 4th Gen forum

So I really need to get on this oil leak and was trying to search the answers myself like we're supposed to do before asking. But I can't get ANY results out of the 4th Gen forum. I try simple words like "oil", "starter" and "tire" only to be told there are no results. If I search all open forums I get results but way too much to pour through. If I do general Maxima discussions I get a handful of threads but it's like the individual forums are being excluded. Any one else having problems? I just wanted to search out all the lower oil pan gasket threads but as of now, the Org offers me NO help at all. What's going on?

Go to google.com and type this in-
site:forums.maxima.org your search here

I find that it works better than using the built in search.

The search has not been working for at least 3 days now. I have been trying it but with no avail. I wonder who is responsible for fixing it?

Well glad it's not just me. I used this forum extensively when I did the VC gaskets, I was hoping to get more help to track this leak. I would assume someone knows by now. Hopefully.

I can't even search in the "advanced" link, but it's all good. I trust the maxima tech guys will get on the backbone of this...wondering if they are using the v2 edition...

I'm having the same problem. I thought that it could be that my account has been inactive for so long though.

Thanks for the link Wizard. I added my two cents about how I was searching. Unfortunately who ever "IB team" is isn't going to have much luck fixing it if they can't even replicate it. Double unfortunate is that I need to make a decision about my car like NOW. And as much as I hate to put it in the shop I can't take a chance on messing it up worse myself. So much for searching the answer and saving money like I have in the past.
