Just to confrim. All I need is a DRIVER side Axle for a locking diff?

Just to confirm. All I need is a DRIVER side Axle for a locking diff?

Anything else I need. I found one 3 states away for $500. With pretty decent low miles. I don't mind having one for the NE winters. Not excited about the under steer I could get up hills while turning but It actually is the cheapest one I could find with low miles. lol

And its a 97. Not like that would matter but I heard the 98s have double syncros on first gear?

I didn't read your post, but the answer to your subject is yes.

Now I read it, if you don't know what you're doing you will encounter understeer, but once you get a grip on what's going on with your car you can use the locking diff to your advantage under cornering and man is it fun
