question for people with 18s

does having 18s mean that you need more braking effort compared to the stock rims to bring the car to a stop? how significant is the change?

same ****...........

first of all, u won't need to stop fast cause u won't go fast....potholes, speedbumps, etc will stop u from going fast. it will feel the same as stock. u will not need to upgrade.

they look real pretty

Well it all depends what kind of 18's you get for instance i have Volk CV Pros and there 16lbs a piece or you could have 18 chrome what evers and weight 45 lbs a piece, also depends on tire size and type. Any other questions just ask were all here to help.

So what rims you planning on getting Jayme? =) Anyway, a change in braking effort wasn't noticeable to me...but I can definitely say that the car handled better with 18's than with the stock 16's...however, bumps and potholes are a hundred times worse. =( Then again, it looks a hundred times better. =D

Yeah i agree with you on that it does look way better and handel way better but them pot holes i think jusp out and aim for your car, they jump in the way trying to bend a rim.
