How to make i30 projectors work on 95 max

I really want the projector/hid look for my maxima... Has anyone done an i30 projector and hid swap in their 4th gen? Can you please tell what I all need... Any new wire harnesses? Hardware?

Do you mean J30 projectors?

You'll need the projectors, Dremel, time, patience, and lots of trail and error. If you need examples there is plenty of Retrofit threads with pictures to give you an idea of what needs to be done.

Don't bother if you don't have clear headlight lenses.

do a google search, or register on the hidplanet forum... as far as I know the J30 projector is not really that good compared to a rear HID projector.... if you are gonna do all that work I would suggest getting a set of rear HID projectors... also the retrofit store has the harnessed already made and ready to plug and play....

If you'd like me to do it, I have my old J30's with ZKW-R clear lenses and 6000K bulbs and can do the retro for you but you'll have to cover shipping and price for a wiring harness/ballasts unless you already have those. PM me if really interested.

700 for a retro? who the hell is ripping people off around here at that price?? even with brand new r34s.... R34s=150 at the max, nice projector setup=200(average price) and labor should be free....read the write ups and do it yourself, youll appreciate them more when someone asks about them and you say they are custom made by YOU...be self sufficient...LOL

Labor buddy. Labor costs $$$

It took me a good 20-25 hours of work to get mine perfect.

You also left out the costs of Bulbs, real D2S Phillips bulbs arent cheap, and you didnt include Balllasts nor did you include the harness.
Some like to keep a clean OEM look so they opt for nice shrouds as well.

LOL at free labor. Maybe your job should expect free labor from you.

R34's usually run $150 or less, then projectors, bulbs, ballasts, shrouds, wiring harnesses and labor. It adds up quick which is why retros aren't for everyone.

My retro took:

$150 - 97+ headlights
$80 - J30 Projectors
$30 - Angel eyes
$70 - DDM Tuning HID kit
$20 - Wiring Harness
$35 - Misc. Epoxies and glue
$10 - Dremel bits
$15 - Shrouds

It added up quick man. AND I did all the labor myself... Just in parts I spent like 400 bucks.

Edit: forgot the shrouds

eBay projectors aren't bad. Honestly, any projector is a huge improvement over stock.

True. $500 is way too much for a little budget set up like that.

$500 and doesnt include ballast bulbs or harness? You could do a nice setup with S2k projectors WITH labor for that price + the other stuff you would need

LOL, and you speak from experience?
Honestly retros arent very hard, not when doing a single projector without bezels and etc.
His pricing is right on I think, its the parts that can add up and kill a budget.

Cruz wouldnt sell him self short. $5 hour would be 20 hours of work. With all of the experience he has Im 99.99% it doesnt take him 20 hours of work.

Oh and FYI, ragging my case is soooooooo 2007
