99 SE exhaust clip (VIDEO)
Well, in a few weeks I'll be trading my maxima for a 97 prelude so I figured I would do some of the things I wanted to do with my max while I still can, like post an exhaust clip because i know EVERYONE loves exhaust clips . You might also notice there is a weird air noise coming from the engine bay that is not from the intake. No clue what it may be. Anyway its the custom maxima greddy evo2 knock-off exhaust with a test pipe and AEM short ram. Not a cold start and yes, its automatic. I've had this setup for almost a year now, gonna miss it. Let me know what you guys think...

1) prelude is manual and my max is automatic
2) the prelude has 70k miles on it and my max has 141k
3) might get yelled at for saying this one, but i always wanted a prelude. i think they look much nicer than the maximas
4) the prelude is worth a lot more than my maxima
5) prelude is much faster
Its going to be a straight up trade, should be happening within the month. I'll miss the maxima so much but its time to move on. He wants it stock too so that means I'll be removing everything I added and it will all be going for sale in the classifieds, including the exhaust.
Oh and its a 1997 si prelude, red. I'll be repainting it white though.

man, i see this happen far too often in here. 140,000 is only 11,000 more miles then what i had on my max 6 and a half years ago when i bought it!!!!!! im at 226,000 now and i eat hondas all day!!!! lighter, sure, faster, nope, maybe off the line with a vtec if im not paying attention.

I like preludes but there not faster than a max by any means. If your an auto you will always catch it off the line auto/manual,remember the v6 and the torque we have VS the VTEC. I will say stock vs stock we will have the advantage, but when there hiting VTEC and there about to hit 80 or past 80 they will move up top. I know our cars have a weak intake mannifolds that fall flat on there faces at around 80. I will say a healthy maintained VQ will run it all the way.I raced my friend and his other crew with the vtec controller switch. I get them all the time I am stock with a new tranny and I only have 86K on the motor. I would say a best maintained max will run strong through any mileage on the car.
