Modding the i30krab for 15 1/2 years
#5
Mine is my first car, got her in Feb. of 04. I don't throw cash into her like I used to, but I have a pile of new parts laying around. A complete DEK, Fidanza flywheel, Competition clutch, new fenders and rad. support just to name a few. Sometimes general maintenance turns into a mod. Had torn seats, got 99 I30t seats. Needed brakes, upgraded to 00-01 brakes. Needed a belt tensioner and belts, installed a UR pulley.

The last dyno was at Jim Wolf Technologies about 4 years ago. With the nitrous & supercharger it put down 435- 440 FWD HP. I forget the exact #'s.
They couldn't get a torque reading because my torque converter wouldn't lock up.
Jim Wolf was pissed because my car shut down his dyno twice and he thought for sure I was running over 100 octane race gas. I assured him I was running 81 octane from Costco.
I never bother posting my dyno slip because I misplaced it but my car should be on the 400 FWD HP or over list!

Nice to see you are still around. The max is my 1st car since 2002. Finally got a daily driver so i can start to really push the maxima and see what the built 3.5 can do.
Autos FTW, they are proven to outlive the glass 5sp.

Reverse modification for the most part, LOL. Removed my AWIC and J&S Ultrasafegard (J&S was causing major misfiring problem). Mine is still mild compared to yours!

I still have my 4th gen, I bought it in 2001, its supercharged etc etc now. I remember the Stillen days when you would show up. (my original sn from 2000 was 'banned' because I'm no longer a vendor on this forum)
I also have a white 96 I30t 5spd I'm daily driving now (in addition to 5 other Nissan/Infinitis)

Car looks great, I just started an excel spreadsheet to see how much I've spent on mods and maintenance that includes purcahse price and maint from previous owner....... Wonder how much have been put onto this one. Beautiful car nonetheless.
