Key fob battery???

Hi,

Sorry for the stupid question.....Who has changed the battery in their key fob/alarm/door remote? I know it says to use battery CR2025 but I have not been able to find a battery that works. I've tried Rayco and Energizer 2025 and neither work. This is really pissing me off as my fob did work with the original battery up until last month and I haven't been able to use my remote since!!!!! TIA

The 2025 is the type to use. Are you using new batteries or something you found laying around? Are you putting the battery in with the + side against the removeable cover?

The fob may be dead, or the module in the car lost its programing and does not recognize your fob.
