Abs light

Abs light

I have a abs code(s) 0205 0206 or 25 26 which ever way it works, my cpu is broken so I can not use my fsm, can anyone tell me what these codes represent? Please and thanks. I can't find no where on here that's displays the meaning of These codes

iirc those codes 0205 and 0206 are left and right front speed sensors...

25 and 26 both refer to the left front sensor. 25 says it is open and 26 says it is shorted. Its interesting that you are getting both codes. Did you ever check to see if the sensor wire might have somehow broken? Also, inspect the gear teeth that the sensor detects. Maybe some metal road debris is jammed in the sensor.

You can get them at probably any auto parts store as well as Nissan. Rock Auto has 2 brands, one for $162, another for $164. nissanpartszone.com has the Nissan one for $162. Autozone has them for $231. Don't have a computer? Go to the library and use theirs. Use your phone, call the local parts stores.

Damn, sometimes I am glad that I don't have ABS because of this...pretty penny for one sensor.

Well I had no clue where to look because I had no clue what sensor it was but since you say they both refer to the front I will take a look at the sensor, it was ever since the snow storm we had it probably got damaged

Sensors usually run about 120-160 each last time i checked....go to the junkyard....
