Transaxle and Radiator Question

Ok, the time has come. Switching motors. Big thanks to my Panda Maxima friend from Austin for showing us car-part.com! My questions now are hopefully simple. When switching out an engine will taking the radiator out give me a lot more space? I know it will give me some, I am just wondering if its worthwhile. My second question is will the transaxle come out with the engine when coming out the top? If not I guess we'll just have to get to it from below, but I hope it will come out the top with the engine. Thanks in advance!

Removing the radiator will remove it from harms way. It doesn't take much to destroy a rad.

Every time I have seen someone try to take an engine out from the top without removing the radiator.....there was a big mess to clean up. Its so simple to remove just go ahead and take it out. POST A THREAD ON YOUR SWAP FROM START TO FINISH!!!
