anyway to lower exhaust?

I got the Apexi WS exhaust and the exhaust tip is a bit too close to the rear bumper. As a result, the part of the bumper where the exhaust is near to is partially melted/burned. I was thinking of getting a kit too. Any ideas? Thanks.

get an extension made so that is is a little longer. lowering it won't help because heat will just go upward.

You could get a heat treated shield for ur bumper over the exhaust, but i dont know who carries those. Its sorta like a piece of metal that attached to ur bumper right atop the exhaust. The only thing is they loos sorta ugly

Do you have a Y pipe? If so, check to make sure all the flanges are not rotated. Mine was rotated at the cat mount, if looking from back of car to front, it was rotated counter clockwise. This caused the muffler assembly to be raised up because of it being on the right side of the car. I got it fixed and it is now perfect.

Go get the rubber hanger piece but the longer ones instead of stock...that should allow for some room to move lower.
