I cut off my muffler!

This might be a stupid question but, I had an exhaust leak at the back of my muffler right where you bolt it on to the pipe. I cut it off right there and now the exhaust pipe ends approximately by my back passenger tire. My question is, if I keep it this way is this enough back pressure that my motor wouldn't burn any O rings or anything of that sort. It sounds alot louder but I kind of like it. Thanks!

just make sure you angle the pipe away from your under-carriage

I hope you didn't pay someone to cut your muffler off. This might be a stupid suggestion but why don't you just buy a catback system from ebay and bolt it up???

So is whoever told you that. Don't listen to them anymore. Cutting off you muffler will make you louder and more popular with the law inforcement guys, and MIGHT lose you some low end power as well as MPG. Your motor will be fine. BTW, does your buddy wear an upside-down visor and drive a Honduh?
