Rebarrelled/ widened steelies on a 4th gen?

Curious if this has been tested, done, or even attempted.

Considering how difficult it is to have a different look flowing for our cars that isn't a stillen kit with 18 inch wheels.

I wanted to research this idea.

thoughts?

Ask maxfever as I have seen his whip with 18" or 19" steelies and they look great!

I've thought about white widened steelies but they would only look good if the car was absolutely slammed and I don't want that. Got another look up my sleeve for the summer.

like the diamond racing steelies the honda kids rock? i was thinking about trying to get a set but they dont make them bigger then 16s. im sure they would make something custom but that would be hella expensive.

What amount of backspacing on the wheels are you looking for? Also what diameter?

Was think 17x9.5 as far as width on the steelie.

Not sure of offset yet. I'm not trying to stance the hell out of the car, but make it look bold.

also intend on getting my fenders rolled for this as well.

toronto maxima member didnt find that car...........I did. Its a local wannabe honda kid, who is trying to trade the car for "stanced" civic. Those wheels are just truck trailer wheels painted white.

If you cant tell I despise that car, in person it looks rough to say the least

Totally fine that you despise it. Taste is subjective.

I'm not a fan of this car's color, the roof rack, or the eyelids.. but I like the widened steelies look.

Should of elaborated, I'm aware that the above car doesn't have widened steelies, that was just my comment generally.

If you're not going to stance your car out, don't bother. It wouldn't even be worh it and won't look right.

lolol they're cheap cars to get your hands on. cheap cars with cheap owners...it was inevitable.

i'm all about stance, but i would only run steelies for a winter set up personally.

If u want wide steelies, go to discount tire and look at the unique brand (cragers cheaper brand) wheels. I'be seen 17x8, x9, & x9. Just say u have a ranger lol, (since rangers are 5x114)...
