FCP Groton Control Arm Kit 8-piece
Guys
Im not going to come on here and BS you or tell you false info. I will simply state our case and let it be. For the guys who have used us and know how we are will back us. Our customer service is top notch.
We are located in Old Saybrook CT, not in Germany. We have a 30,000 square foot warehouse were you yourself can check us out and purchase parts if you want. We started out as a Volvo specialist site and have since grown into a eCommerce offering products for Audi/VW Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Volvo for the European cars.
We now have moved into the Asian cars offering up the kits I offer on here at super low prices as a thank you to the community, not because they are junk parts. Ask all the guys who have bought from me on here. They will tell you. Have I had a part fail...yes of course. It happens. No vendor can say they 0 defects. I can tell you right now that a customer is on this very forum with an issue and his name is Nate. I am taking care of him and everything is good.
We are also have updated our catalogs with the better brands out there such as Meyle, Lemforder, Gates, EMPI, Conti and many more. We also can source OEM parts. Check out the sites and you be the judge of it. If you don't like something tell us. If you think we should carry something in particular, let me know. I will gladly help out anyone who is willing to share there thoughts.
Sorry for the rant but I feel everyone should know the truth.

To be honest what isn't? Not to sound like a smart *** but even Volvo's parts are being made in China, Lemforder moved to China, and Brembo makes parts where ever is cheapest. Its not something we want to hear but the truth is most parts are coming from there and its a matter of Quality. We do have a in house inspection guy who looks at everything that comes in. If we wouldn't put it on our car we don't sell it.
That whole argument of "Everything is made in China now" is bull****. I've got a parts room FULL of parts from Germany.
Brembo? Pretty much always been junk anyway, except for their high end aftermarket stuff. Their rotor blanks are garbage made in Italy. In the German car world, Italy has always been known as Europe's Taiwan.
EDIT - And as for Japanese car parts, I have a shelf load of Senkei, 555, YEC, NGK, Advics-Sumi, Mountain, Aisin, Hitachi, etc. All made in Japan. Why buy Chinese made aftermarket ****, and continue to support that ****, when there are quality OEM items out there.

I can't comment on Volvo, but I can tell you that Lemforder is not making any parts for western markets in China. Many of these major manufacturers are making parts in China, but those are for the Chinese market, and not for export anywhere else. That is the case with Lemforder. I installl ZF, Lemforder, Zimmerman, Boge, Bilstein, Sachs, TRW, Mahle, Mann, etc, parts allllll day, every day. And not only do I own the shop, I work as the service manager, and I check every part that comes in the door here. The ONLY German brand whom I've received a part made in China, was a Mann fuel filter for a BMW. And I sent it back to Worldpac.

China is the world's manufacturing Switzerland, ask her no questions and she will tell you no lies. The majority of everything comes from there, and it grows.
Yay for globalization and consumption.
Unless cost is the same you are selling yourself short on principle, and that's reality. If that is the case you are to be commended for it, as that is a slew of integrity many lack these days.

Son of Lars, you may say all your parts are made Germany but just read this News update showing that they are manufacturing products over in China India Belgium and the US. Just food for thought. I don't condone it but not everything is Crap from there.

"Recently, ZF spent about EUR half a billion for the acquisition of the Belgian wind turbine gearbox manufacturer, Hansen Transmissions. "Due to this acquisition, we pushed ourselves into the position of being one of the leading manufacturers of large gearboxes in the booming wind power plant market", Härter explains the significance of the acquisition. Having plants in the USA, Belgium, India, and China, ZF now encompasses production plants in all markets important for renewable energy generation from wind power."
As for not all auto parts coming from China being crap? Wrong. EVERY single Chinese made auto part I have ever handled, feels, looks and fits like complete Chinese made trash. So sorry, but that includes the Ebay junk that comes from FCPGroton.

They're talking about power transmissions for windmills. Nothing to do with auto parts at all.

Oh and it looked and felt better than the OEM stuff too....
Don't be hatin' on the Chinese parts meow.
Your lifetime warranty won't be worth jack **** when a balljoint falls apart at speed.
I agree somewhat that just because its form china doesn't mean its crap. However, I would say the vast majority of manufacturers that use cheap chinese parts are the companies that buy a product and slap their name on it as well as 50 other companies. If a company sets up its own factory and monitors the production then no, I don't think its crap. In general though, parts from china suck. They don't have standards or quality control. The lifetime warranty is just to get people to actually trust it somewhat. In reality you will probably be using that warranty a few times over the course of its life whereas a good product with a lifetime warranty, you probably wont need to use it.
I'd say they're doing their job.
PS. I bet your car has more chinese parts than you imagine.
Hrmm... Now that I think about it BC Racing is "Chinese" stuff too... Hrmmm
40k miles later, a few road course adventures later, a few autocrosses, a few trips to 6k in 6th gear.... Ball joints are working.
I'd say they're doing their job.

My cars have no Chinese parts in them. Zero.
I'm a 6'3", 250lb Norwegian Canadian. I've been repairing German cars for 20 years, and that is enough time for me to see the horrors of cheap **** Chinese auto parts.
Look, your experience with this company in the past on other platforms is well noted, but please do not go hating on parts manufactured in china in general, because I guarantee you I will find some important parts on your ride made there that you didn't know about.
I was thinking about it, and I do have a couple of Chinese parts in there. I bought Full brand air filters for the Nissan's. Made in China, I believe.
But go ahead, name a part, and I'll tell you what brand is on my cars.
Name a part on my car. Go ahead. Not ONE part on my cars is made in China. I've got an 88 Maxima SE, an 87 300ZX, and a 77 BMW 630csi. The Maxima has been dealer serviced since new, and is a low mile example I purchased from the original owner. My Z was purchased new by my mother, and has been dealer serviced, or serviced by me since new. My BMW was a ground up rebuild by me. I know EVERY single solitary part that goes into my cars.

And no I am not going to get involved in that, too much time for something I really don't give 2 ***** about, just stating my case here for future readers to find it and ponder about.
I'm Aaron, and I <3 my China Made Parts.
Brand doesn't mean where the part is manufactured..... That's what I'm getting at... just because the company's HQ is not in china does not mean their MFG. dept isn't there....

A company legally has to say where it manufactured. It it doesn't say china then it wasn't made in china. Theres not some huge conspiracy of parts secretly made in china stamped with a made in somewhere else stamp. People prefer to have parts made in reputable factories by reputable companies so a company isn't going to risk its business by fooling its customers. Its nice to have a cheap alternative when times are tight but they WILL fail and it will be sooner than expected and good luck with your warranty. You should brush up on your chinese. I have OEM parts on my car. Expensive but worth it when there is a problem

with that being said the parts are high quality and and in my opinion better than some "oem" stuff chinese made or otherwise
