Cali Emission??

I was wondering what was the difference between a car that has California emission and a reg car??

CA has their own emissions standards. it's just a set of rules specifically for CA. for example the Y-pipe. there is a CA emissions pipe, and a federal emissions pipe. i think the CA emissions is much more strict than the federal.

ooh i see..correct me if i'm wrong..but aren't there like a million people that have fire breathing imports that cruise the streets of L.A. at 100 mph??? how do they pass the test or whatever??

true. but i've heard from a couple guys that they would replace whatever parts they need just to barely pass emissions with flying colors.
