Someone is offering to sell me a thermal muffler and tip, made by Thermal Research and Development for 80 dollars. Is this a good deal? What exactly will a thermal muffler do?

Thanks

what is the noise limit before you get a ticket. Like would you get one with a stillen muffler?

bring a cop a doughnut!

and politely ask him how many db's is the legal limit. if you get him a jelly roll or bear claw, bring him out to your car...start er up and rev a little...ask him if he thinks in his judgement if its too loud. if he says "yes"
TELL him you're going to get it fixed asap...and secretly dont.

I don't think a Stillen Muffler could get you into trouble. I have one, and I really don't think its any louder than my roomates stock exhaust on his 95 GTP.

But, I haven't been pulled over with it yet, so I don't really know for sure ( not that I want to find out )
