Ive replaced vss and still have the code.

 

What are the symptoms of a failing or dead a/t controller? put a maf from a jy seemed to cure the surging and some of the rough idle. Its definetly mor driveable but not much. The car just started making a weird sound from somewhere by the tb egr area. Sounds almosr like a vacuum leak bit zero symptoms of a leak. Gets louder w/ rpm. I still cant rev past 3.5k in any gear and P N

 

Will a dead 02 cause the ecu to not rev past 4k, no codes just o2 code. Any ideas??

Your cluster is defective. Both P0500 and P0600 at the same time means the TCM is not getting reading from VSS and from cluster. Both pass the information to the cluster before it goes to the TCM. Try resoldering connections or swap entire unit.
