p1105 right after valve cover gaskets change

Smh..went to the shop to fix my valve cover gaskets, car ran normal before this so it was something in the change that messed it up, getting a P1105, normal idle is at 750, but on idle only time i noticed this, and car does seem a little lagging on the highway but could be in my head, but anyways rpm on idle could drop as low to 650 at times and jumps to 700 then back to 750 normal to as high as 850. at 650 the car starts shaking and sputtering and spitting unburnt fuel out of my exhaust. When under the hood checking out the harness that connects to the MAF, when i touch the wires rpm changes and wants to die out, what do u guys think, i kno the wires are thin but does that happen to everyone even those without the code when touching the wires just pushing the harness down rpm changes? or do i got bad voltage supply?

When I take off my UIM I always pray that some wire isnt going to break inside the wiring harness. Last time I took it off one of my injector clip wires frayed a bit and I was getting a misfire. The fray was literally a few mm from the clip itself so adding in a new length of wire is all but impossible. Ill have to pull a used one and put that in to fix it permanently. The constant heating and then cooling of those wires is far from ideal for electrical components. Its very likely one is frayed and not getting the right voltage. The MAF wiring is right there and I can see how it could break. Check it out. Ive been looking into a voltage stabilizer for my car as well to combat the electrical problems common in our cars

The P1105 is for the MAP/BARO Switch Solenoid Valve. It is near the forward rocker arm cover on the driver's side. Check for disconnected vacuum hoses. I left one of those hoses off when I changed my valve cover gaskets.

i dont think its vacuum because when i grab and move around the wiring harness that connects to MAF idle changes, how do i check for proper voltage?

is the MAP/BARO Switch Solenoid Valve same as the EGRC solenoid valve the with the green connector? They look exactly the same

Your right my mechanic left off a hose the one that connects to the bottom of the tb phew, thanks guys. I saw it and was like no way this is it, one way to future people reading this when u turn off your car youll hear a loud whoosh sound the sound of vaccum letting u kno it was vacuum hose, cause now that sound is gone.

Glad you got it fixed man. I was about to post a possibility to this as just a hose being disconnected or switched around.
