Dolphin sound from brakes???

Yeah, this is weird. We all know I've been having trouble with my rear brakes and such. I heard this noise once before but thought nothing of it. Since then the rear brake cables have all been replaced, and the siezing brakes were no longer siezing. However, after the car has been turned off and is cooling down (only after a drive of more than 15 minutes of continuous movement), I hear this...kinda dolphiny eeh ehh ehh ehh noise coming from the rear brakes again. I use my e-brake when in park, but I am still thinking there is something up with the caliper pistons, because they have always looked really odd and beaten.

Any ideas?

Ms. Lime girl are you still having problems with your baby? I don't know, but something sounds fishy here.

sorry for the late reply...been a little busy working my butt off at work! Anyway, yes, Max still might have some rear brake/e-brake troubles. Oh well. I suppose I will go have it looked into when I get the throttle body cleaned. I wish DBM were here.

Re: Dolphin sound from brakes???

I sometimes get a high-pitched groan when slowing the car down using just the e-brake. Don't think much of it though. Stopping is silent when using the brake pedal and it stops fine with the porterfields. Are you talking noise with just the e-brake or with the pedal? and are we talking both rears or just one? I also use the e-brake when parked.
