Rear seat belt reset?

So I removed the rear seat belts from my car at one point (don't ask why, i dont even remember), and they retracted all the way and now they won't reel back out so I can properly attach the bottom holder. There has to be a way to reset these, so anyone know how to do it? These seat belts didn't lock up because of an accident, just because they retracted all the way in. Thanks in advance.

it needs to be bolted up in the position it sits in, in order for you to pull the belt back out. theres a weight inside that only allows the belt to be pulled out when its in the correct position.

It is bolted up in the correct position, but the belt still wont reel out... Should I remove it, shake it up in case the weight is stuck and then bolt it back into position? Or is there a pin or button that needs to be pushed also to make it reel out?

hmm ive never messed with our cars seatbelts. youre saying youve got the big mechanism bolted up where it goes behind the trim by the rear deck right? if it wont just naturally inwind when its bolted in its correct position, maybe something got jammed in the gears. see if you can take it apart and see if anythings stuck, wrapped wrong, or jammed in there.

yes, its bolted up to where its supposed to be behind the trim. Thats what I'm gonna do, take it down see if anything is jammed. Anyone else who has down this in the past and knows how to unreel these belts please chime in.

Fixed it. Just had to take the cover off and move a couple of ***** around. Thanks for your suggestion.
