Auto or manual transmission?
Either or, you have an engine issue. Is the check engine light on?
Did this happen suddenly or gradually?
Any mods to the car?

Need a bit more info to help you, otherwise we're just guessing.

if your car won't rev past 2500 or 3k, it's likely the MAF sensor...

LOL youre gonna love this...so after cleaning my CPS and my MAF the problem seemed intermittent...It was getting late so I decided to call it a night. i walk out next morning and it had rained and it looked like my car threw up a fn rainbow. checked the oil...put 2 qts in...runs fantastic. I hit 40, punch it, and it GOOOES like it should. boy do I feel like a complete ruhtard.

Do you drive it like it's a geo metro and you're 80 years old? If not, premium would be good.

I get about 30 percent better fuel economy running premium...which more than makes up for the cost difference btwn the good stuff and the cheap $hit. Shell V powah or chevron premium only for me. Worth the price difference, even compared to circle k or arco premium (for me)

well i do need to replace the fuel filter. and as a matter of fact i do drive like i'm 80 years old. I will never go arco or circle k. i'm a 76 fan. i'm not worried about fuel economy. I live 4.6 miles from work. a tank of gas lasts me 3 1/2 weeks.

i run premium in my IS300 tho. of course my lady drives that, and she drives like a fn mad man.

Tip: Don't buy gas if the tanker is refilling the station. It disturbs the debris sitting on the pump floor into the pump into your car = dirty filter = less power and possible fuel pump failure

Premium from 76, Exxon, Chevron, or Shell for me But shell most of the time because of Ralph's. Pumping premium with the price of midgrade
