Pesky P1320 Code

Hey guys,

I need some help getting rid of this code. Up to this point, I have replace all coils packs with the BWD brand from PepBoys. I have also replaced my knock sensor which I wasnt 100% on but it was cracked when I removed it. I am attempting to perform the steps noted in the EC section of the manual.

Here are the problems I'm having.
1.) I am attempting to check continuity on the condenser but I dont think I have the right harness connector. It would appear that this thing is connected to my knock sensor but I could be wrong. In attempting this, I do not get a reading.

1.) Does anyone have an actual picture of this thing?
2.) And shouldnt I get all zeros on my multimeter?

In check the power,I get 3.3v when I think I should be getting the same voltage as the battery. Am I right with this assumption?

In using the multimeter, I dont get a reading from my coil packs. I think Im just using it wrong so any helps would be useful but I havent tested them since they were all purchased new. (Spark plugs are new also.)

If I decide to check the power supply using Step B in the manual (pg EC-420), how do I ground the multimeter?

Last one, when checking voltage under the hood, should I use the negative from the battery or use the chasis?

Thanks guys for the help. Hope that's not to much.

always buy OEM coil packs. Aftermarket ones tend to not last/perform as well as OEM.

check the wiring harness for damage. It's possible a wire got cut by accident and it's not sending a signal to something.

OEM or Bust!

If it's too expensive, at least get used ones from the junkyard that are OEM

This seems like such a hit and miss issue. I haven't read any post that would say people have done what Im being adviced to do which is basically get $600 dollars worth of coils from Nissan with the possibility of being stuck with the $375 worth already invested on the BWD. And I still won't know for sure if this will clear the code.

Get used OEM coils. It'll solve your issue.
