So there's this hole in my 00vi...advice .Org'ers

Today i had the chance to take a picture of this, i got this about a month ago, but i still cant figure out how to plug it since i cant obviously weld it shut. i got this at a junkyard, it was already off when i checked the max out, the previous person just took the LIM. & i guess he broke off the break booster hose plug . So i can't progress with my 00vi swap until i can get this plugged. any advice on how to plug it?

Plastic weld or JB weld, as long as you're not boosted it will hold if prepped right.

what?? there's supposed to be a nipple sticking out of it for the brake booster line.

exactly what he said^^^

if you don't have the broken off piece then you might have to plastic weld it, then drill and tap a fitting into it or try gluing a fitting straight into that for the brake booster line.

ya i got that part. check the link i posted, it deals with this exact situation. your idea with the gatorade cap is pretty good to cap the whole but why block it off when the brake booster line hooks up right there? all you would need to do after the gatorade cap is drill a hole and mount an appropriate sized nipple so you can hook up the brake booster line.
