Knock Sensor Bogging motor between shifts
Whats up everyone. On the new max I just picked up, the previous owner said that he changed the knock sensor. When i ran the codes, I'm getting p0325, p1400 and p1401. I figured he was lying when he said he changed it, so I bought one cheap from fcpimport. It came packaged in factory nissan sticker for only $23. But anyways, after i put it in and cleared the codes, the car would run fine on the first few start ups, and no bogging between gears primarily 3rd to 4th. After a while it will give a real hard start then the bogging begins. What's got me a little stumped is that if i clear the codes using my obd2 reader it'll run fine then go back to the way it was. I took apart the ks harness thinking it was bad, and went to the junk yard and got one that was fully intact, but the car is still doing the same thing.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?
I know that the
P0325 is the Knock sensor code
P1400 is the EGR Solenoid Valve
P1401 Is the EGR Temp Sensor.
Also an Autozone printout that I got said for one of the probable causes for the KS was "low fuel pressure". Is that possible?
Forgot to mention, It's a 96 se manual

Actually, a bad ks or the ecu not getting signal from a ks will make u bog. I know this from personal experience with my old 95 i built. Car had full 00vi with 5th gen tb and iacv, egr deleted, obx v2, n vafc2. Car lacked power and bogged between shifts. I changed the ks and all the bogging went away. Car pulled hard and would chirp tires in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
