1995 Max OBD-II or not
1995 Max OBD-II or not
I searched the threads and check undet the hood, but can't find anything definitive. Under the hood it simply states that it meets emisions requirements from 1995. It has the 16 pin connector by the fues box, but not sure if this is just for consult or will work with the ISO OBD-II type generic scan tools. The manual says the DTCs seen by Generic Scan tools subscribe to SAE J23012. I am basically trying to find out if the vehicle is compatible with OBD-II Scan Tools that use the ISO 9141 standard connector.
Thanks in advance

Found It:-)
Okey Dokey,
Found it right behind the same panel that you pull off for ECU removal on the passenger side of the console. If you were to face the center console it would be at 10-11 o'Clock as you view it in relation to the ECU. I will take a ook at it in better light to check which holes have pins in them. I believe for most OBD-II (ISO 9141-2) tools it will need to have 4,5,7,15,16 pinned.
If anyone else with a 4th gen can take a look at theirs for me, I would greatly appreciate it. i would love to hear from a 96-99, since those are known to be OBD-II compliant. I realize this does not mean it is necessarily OBD-II but will point me in the right direction as far as scan tools. Thanks in advance
