LCA ES bushing life?

I put in ES bushings maybe 4 years back, I'm getting told during my PA inspections that my LCA is loose and needs to be replaced.

Anyone have issues with ES LCA bushings not lasting very long?

Yes. Last year I had to replace one of mine as well. I believe I installed them in 06. I also replaced the sway bar bushings again. Not a long lasting mod apparently.

Hi Asand1, could you define occasionally and what is the greasing process?

It all depends on how much you drive honestly. It is wear and tear but 4 year's still isnt that long.

Easy as pie. I put anti seize on all the threads so everything came off like butter. Also since the bushings aren't pressed on like the OE, they just slide off the pins.

When they start squeking maybe, IDK. I would do it once a year. I had them on my fiero, but not currently on anything.factory bushings are bonded to the metal parts and flexes, es relies on the inner sleeve turning inside the bushing, hence the need for lube.
