H&R springs with 18x8 rims

I was wondering if there was any severe rubbing issues with the tires with the H&R springs and 18x8 rims setup? Otherwise, I will start looking for 17" rims instead. If anyone has had any experiences with that setup please let me know. How did it effect your car as far as daily driving went?

18's are very large rims for a 4th. I think 17's are about right if you have a choice.

I dont know, I have 18x7 rims on my car with H&R, 235/40-18. No rubbing issues at all. The off-set has to be correct.

The TIRE diameter won't change, so the question makes no sense. What is the off set and intended TIRE size?

The tire diamter would change if you got a really high aspect ratio. Lets say you have 17in rims your going to put on your 4th gen. The factory spec tire is 205 65r15. So with the 17in rim and a 235 wide tire you would need to get a 45 aspect ratio to keep the rolling diameter the same. So lets say instead you got a 235 65r17 tire. When your speedo says you are going 60mph you would actually be going about 68mph

18's are not very large. smh.

to OP, i don't rub with my 18 x 8 +43's dumped on coilovers on 215/40's...you should be fine with a 225 on an h&r drop.
