second time it happen this week.

I go start the car and let it idle while i'm texting or checking my email. Within the first two minutes, the idle which is normally under 800-900 rpm would jump up to maybe 1100-1200 and go back down and once more repeat itself.

I thought to myself maybe i move the steering wheel, i know the power steering could do that. But it wasn't due to the steering wheel, actually its a little more noticable VS the steering wheel RPM jump.

THis only happens at first start. Think i need to clean up that idle air control or w/e this car uses?

 

Yeah, clean up the TB / IACV and check for vac leaks while you're at it

 

and check your MAF while you are at it
