aackshun realistically speaking here how much time we have to wait like at least a couple months or longer? do these dudes got bussed motherboards ready to solder components into based off the stock mb's? only reason i ask is because my swap is almost done and i'm a lil weary of just using the stock ecu with this 'new-to-me' motor.

Sometime in August is what I originally had planned, I know from the point when a car is dropped off to MS it takes one month, so we haven't gotten to that stage yet.... But I'm sure i'd hear back from them either this week or next week when they're ready for us....

Well when one starts talking about breaking records that people have set with very hard work I take offense. Clashez did it with great frequency. He also uses about 15 SN because when one gets banned he goes to another. If you are not Clashez I apologize and lets move on and forget about him and look forward to word from MS

Why? There is absolutely nothing wrong with setting high goals. If people are going for new records they know it isn't going to be easy, unless they are going for something ridiculously specific like street tire auto 4th gen n/a usim in the DMV area.

or like saying they will get over 23mpg

anyway, MS will be the solution to put us over the top.

you've got your work cut out for you, Andy. It's a long way to Dandy's 270. I've got my own methods so you'll have me to contend with as well, however I'm way too poor to be a threat right now though so you've got the advantage on me for the moment, haha

The best way would be posting slips of the 1/4.

See my issues with people throwing out Dyno Hp is that wondering how accurate that dyno really is....cause as we all know nothing is perfect and I have see where people normally pull in the 700hp mark (300zx) and then dyno a z nationals and he only pulled 639. He wasn't the only one, and then found out the dyno was messed up.

EDIT: I might also add that he ran with full interior too.

Oh I'm not doubting it by any means. I don't even know the guy or aware that I have seen his car. I was just making a statement that's all. I can't wait to be hitting the 300 mark boosted. I'm just preparing the rest of the car for the everyday time warp.

Checked the video again last night, Dan ran a 12.6 @ 109

To add to the dyno comments, that's very true that all dynos read differently.
At the shop I work, we have an AWD Mustang dyno, and my Civic reads 158 wheel, while a dynapak will read ~200wheel. Same car.

MS has everything. my understanding is they are developing the the coding to work with our timing, ignition, and fuel systems as well as they have to get plugs manufactured to make it plug-and-play. to my knowledge no one makes the ecu plugs, so without sacrificing a crap ton of 4th gen ecus... you get the idea.
from what i'm told they are also working on the ls engines which i gather function at least somewhat similar to ours. this means even if we get back-burnered the basic programming will be there and make it that much easier to mod to our setup.

So whats the official word on this?
An LS on mega squirt is kind of a waste of time. Just modding their stock ECUs because of how expandable they are is a much better option. If MS can work on a VG or RB powered car that will be our best bet.

Well both guys bailed out on buying my car...so I'm ging to keep it. I had sold my piggy back too. Oh well! I'd love to do this but doesn't sound like it's going to happen. I also think I have some wrist pin noise going on as well. Might have to do a swap in the near future.

The 4th gen ECU plug is still available, Ive said in this thread before I have plenty of them, they are new in box haha.
If they are trying to make a plug in ecu the oem connector is not the reason for this not happening.....
Its not happening because its a part for a Nissan Maxima.....
