PO170 fuel trim malfunction?

Ok, got a new oddball question. I recently overhauled the VQ30 motor in my 95 with manual and she is driving and performing beautifully. Right after overhauling the motor I had an extreme hard start situation which turned out to be a massive grounding issue Kudos to to Max Joe for leading me to look where I did not think, Recently I have been experiencing some of the same extreme hard start issues and this time retrieved 2 codes. PO 340 and PO 170
Cam position sensor circuit malfunction, and PO 170 fuel trim malfunction? I checked the position sensor and it is gone so my question is why do I get the FT malfunction code O2 sensors are new within the overhaul and the motor only has 2100 miles any thoughts as to why this code popped up?

By "gone" you mean not there or just no good? I hope you mean no good cause you'd probably have no oil left if it were actually not there.

And the code should read P zero, three, four, zero etc...not PO like a Post office box

Here, this may help with your P0170 http://boredmder.com/ecucodes/index....1995&DTC=p0170 Not sure if you have already seen that.

As in NO good; I have already determined that much. my question is why would I be getting a rich or lean condition could this be a culmination of factors with the CPS going south?

Replace the CPS and clear codes. If P0170 or P0173 appear afterwards, you have to start saving for some injectors.
