my friend has like a 94 camaro V6 and he says my car is slow sh*it.... i think i can beat him.. cuz he is stock... we r both auto's.... i want him to stop talkin crap cuz he has a gay camaro v6 auto.... i know my car is faster... im just wondering if i would beat him

3,200lb +, only 160hp, 200lb-ft of torque. Since you are both autos you should be faster.

 

when my Max was stock but I took him out buy about a 1/2 a car length 3 times in arrow.I know this race is a bit different then the one you talking about but I am pretty sure V6 Camaros are pretty slow If there anything like a Mustang V6.Race him allready what ya waiting for?Represent us Maxima owners.

 

Depends on what engine he has. They had two models in variuos years a 3.4 and a 3.8. If he has the 3.4 he does not have a chance if hes got the 3.8 it will be very close since the gear ratio's between your car and his are different. If I remember correctly the 3.8 has 200hp but his car being the v6 is not equiped with the same suspension as the v8 so it will not be that fast probably in the middle 7's at best high low 8's if its the 3.4.

if its a 94 then it doesn't have the 200 hp engine so do worry there. Those have lotsa low end, but die on top since it is just a big engine with low tech, ie no doch. Just keep it pinned and try to maximize your top end. Either way, i like to get beat at the races sometimes. It somehow allows me to rationalize putting more money into my stupid car.

You shouldn't have one bit of problem kicking the snot out of him. I leave those guys in the dust. Just go out and shut him up...when you take off he won't be able to keep up!!!

 

If you can halfway drive your car it wont be close. I've had alot of experience (no flames please ) with the gm f-bodys and Y-bodys. Just race him, and then talk all the smack you want.

 

I raced my friends Camero (auto to auto) and beat him twice. They're junk.

 

Oh yeah, he the 3.8 liter also, it was a 98', you can take him.
