If you got the $$$$$$ then you can do just,

about anything you want, but a cool idea if you were a Machanic is to buy two totaled Max's one total from the behind and one from the front, then take the *** off the good one and stick it on the one totaled from the front,if you could do that it would only cost like 4K but it would be very very difficult to do and take a long time to complete.

Someone suggested an old funny car frame. Just put in a motor & drive-train, tires/wheels, a fiberglass body kit, and you're off to the races. Low weight, high HP. And if you go with a [gag] domestic, it can be done real cheap... I know. I had about the same reaction. I'll take my Maxima any day.

Re: If you got the $$$$$$ then you can do just,

so basically your cutting and welding the backend of a car on to another??
enh...i dunno about u but that's not a right way to put together a car and drive it. it compromises the structure in a accident.

if your going to put together a project car from the frame up then def go for a old school domestic with less wiring and electronics so u don't have too many electrical bugs.

It would be cool to get a couple totaled maximas and make the only maxima streached limo!

I am not sure I understand you correctly...
"...then take the a$$ off the good one [so you have a good rear] and stick it on the one totaled from the front [so the front end is totaled, so you have another good rear]. Does this mean you have a car with two rears???

Now that is one funny looking, undrivable car that will cost you $4K.

I actually saw this on some show a few weeks ago. Woman had this car with odd, undiagnosable problems and it eventually turned out that it was two separate cars welded together! Big, ugly weld line right across the middle which had been obscured by the undercoating. They crash-tested it after her attempts to get her money back from the dealer failed, and it crumpled like paper. Thing had NO structural integrity; there's a reason for frames and uni-body construction.

anything is possible with the right amount of cash.

anyone want to put in a v8 alcohol dragster motor into their max? I'll do it for for a cool million and a half + donor max. hell i;ll put it in an austin mini or miata for an extra 5k. Any takers? BTW i;m sure that lady can sue and win if the car was like that. Technically if i remember right, you'd have a lemon on your hands and lemon laws should take care of it. *shrug* just what i remember.

JUNKYARD WARS!!!

Reminds me of that show "Junkyard Wars" anyone seen that?

That shows pretty hott! Two teams make all kind of things out of junkyard parts to compete against each other and they only have a set amount of time to make it. Like they had a car that had to move with no round wheels,a cannon to shoot at a target, a boat that could lift an austin mini out of a lake, a battering ram to knock down walls etc etc. Its pretty funny to see which machine will actually perform the set task.
