Center Beam Rotted

Center Beam Rotted
Went to get new tires put on my 97 Maxima yesterday and I got a call saying they refuse to work on it because the center beam that holds the engine up has rotted. I looked and it has completely rotted in the front and has broken loose and hanging down a couple inches. They tell me the car needs to be junked. I assume this is a known issue, so if you folks know of a fix for this please lmk. Car is perfect mechanically and electrically otherwise.

also, theres ****in mad threads on this man. people weld angle iron on there, people replace the rad support altogether, people rig some kind of metal up there to fix it. its not that hard of a fix man honestly.

Just search "radiator core support"...this is a fairly common problem for cars in rainy or wet environments..due to water, salt, etc, etc causing rust
And they are retards to say the car needs to be junked...........if you replace the Core Support altogether DO NOT use any ebay crap unless you feel like replacing it again in 2 months

Idiots, it's actually a good thing they aren't working on your car and don't ever let them.
That beam isn't holding the engine up.
You do need to replace your lower radiator support and put the crossmember back in place.
