Cleaning Product Stained Window!?!?!?
ok so my friend was bsing as usual and while i drove by he sprayed this purple cleaning product on my window, it was purple idk if it was power shout or something like that one of them purple degreasers he was using to clean his engine. so i drove off and when i parked to clean it, it had already dried up and stained my glass, i tried windex, wd-40 and even tried using gasoline, nothing takes it off, I have these rlly bad marks and drips from this spay and nothing will take it off, not even at the car wash. Anyone know what i can use to take it off it looks really bad i cant take it off with anything so far

I had a 91 Stanza about two years ago someone tried out their graffiti skills on in a mall parking lot. Tried everythinhg and what finally worked was some gasoline and a magic eraser, little wax when done. I'd reconsider who you label your "friend"

Can you post a picture of the stain? It would help to identify whether its a Type 1 or 2 glass etch/stain. Can you feel with your finger if it actually etched the glass? Or just stained it? Glass is very very hard, but luckily can be corrected. Polishing glass is on the difficult end of detailing but with the right tools, you can make that glass look better than new. You'll need a rotary (not Dual action or orbital) polisher with a compound and foam light cutting pad. I'd try Megs 105 with a Lake Country CCS Orange pad. If that doesn't work you'll need to step up the aggression with glass cutting pads and a glass polish. Just make sure it has Cerium Oxide in it for best results. I like CarPros Ceriglass Polish. Do you have a rotary?

Razor blades work great for taking off tree sap. Good to know they're versatile for removing cleaning products, too.
I hope you sprayed your friend in the face with that product, and let it dry. Or sprayed it on his windshield without telling him the removal solution.
