power steering fluid

power steering fluid

My power steering fluid is bubbbling in the container. It looks like a wave from the side. I never noticed it before until today. last week i found power steering all over the control arms and cleaned it up. what do you think the problem could be

Don't know about the bubbling but the leak is probably covered under a recall. Mine was leaking down there too and Nissan fixed it for free when I took it in for its free inspection in October. It is some recall with a hose working loose. All they did was tighten it so you might be able to do it yourself.

I am not positive but do a search on the web for safety recalls and stuff. They usually have listings all over the place to inform people.

mines bubles too. i thinks it's normal cause other car do it too. don't know if its heat or air thats doing it.

i think it might be heat, cause the longer i drive mine the more it does it and im loosing fluid. i didnt get a chance to go by the dealership today.
