Clanking noise from engine...
I've done a search on this topic and found a few people have a similar problem.... when the engine is cold there's a clattering noise, like valve noise of something with the timing chain. It gets louder and faster if you rev the engine. It isn't there all of the time...sometimes only once every couple of weeks. Sometimes it only lasts for like 10 seconds..other times it goes away after a couple of minutes....once it has lasted for like 10 minutes. Its coming somewhere from around that valve cover and if you've ever heard a car with no oil in it..that is what it sounds like. I have a 95 SE auto with 105,000 kilometers. I've seen a few posts saying it might have to do with the timing belt...if that was the case wouldn't it do it all the time?
Thanks
