lights to speedometer dont work

lights to speedometer dont work
I have a 95 maxima, v6 3.0 manual. The lights on the speedo, temp, gas, rpms dont work....but the check engine, e-brake, etc, all work fine. Do I have a loose connection? I changed a tail light fuse, cause I read tail lights are in the same circuit as the cluster?but didnt work.. Any ideas?

Souns like you have a loose connection behind the cluster since all the bulbs that work are the same type and the ones that dont work are the same type. Pull your cluster out and check your 3 plugs going into the back...also might as well double check the bulbs that are out just in case.
Just a stupid question, is your dimmer switch turned all the way down for some reason
? The dimmer switch will only dim the gauge lights but not the CEL, e-Brake etc lights.
