TRANSGO SHIFT KIT
Its not a complicated kit nor is it a difficult job. I would just call it tedious and you need the right tools such as a torque wrench to get correct OEM specs. If you understand the components of a transmission then you can install it yourself. It seems like a lot before you start but once you get in there I really think you will be fine
I know you've used that method before too, especially since I've witnessed you do torque to spec by "feeling" in my garage, you didn't forget now did you?

When I was shopping around I don't think anyone wanted under $500 iirc. That's why I just did it myself.
2 hours? Took me 8 the first time and 4-5 the second time. You have to be careful and slowly do this or you will **** it up, lose parts, etc. It's not hard just takes time, **** it takes half an hour just to drain the trans, unless you want to soak yourself in AT fluid.
I was quoted $500 and up and I've heard of others paying more, it's not BS. If you can get it done for $150-200 at a legit shop, I'll put my foot in my mouth.

I didn't go to him, they have a tool shop attached and I was looking for an in/lb torque wrench that was rated for the small amount of torque the vb requires. I couldn't find one so I just gave up and used the "feel" method
