I bought my 97 SE 5 SPd a few months ago. The guy I bought the max from did not take good care of the car. About 3 days after I bought the car it had a big short in the electrical system & killed the tach. The ground wire by the alternator was loose. I tightened it back up,& the tach was still dead. I put in a new (working) cluster & the tach is still dead. I put my original cluster in a friends car & my original tach worked. What could be the problem? Is there a fuse? Fuse link that could've gone bad? Thx
